Happy Thanksgiving!!! I love that our families are not very far away. Every year since Kyle and I have been together, we have spent the holidays with both sides of our families. Each thanksgiving, we eat with his parents and one of their sides of the family for lunch and then go to my mom and brothers house with them and my grandpa for dinner.

This year, we followed tradition and ate with Kyle’s moms family. Fortunately, they only live about 5 minutes away from us. It was a great day of eating, fellowshipping with our families and counting the many blessings we have.

When I was growing up, my family used to travel to my grandparents farm. We had dinner with our entire family and after the dinner, we would either have a late night game of basketball or football. It was me, my brother and my three boy cousins. We had games way into the morning hours… sometimes ending the game around 1:30-2:00.  These are some of my favorite memories. I am so looking forward to going back to the farm and having Thanksgiving at my aunts house and being back “home” so to speak.

We did some reminiscing tonight! Our little guy has been to two wedding recently and has been asking a ton of questions about our wedding. We finally got our pics out. I can’t believe this has been 9.5 years ago. I love this man of mine so much more today and more than I ever thought I could. What a special day. I wouldn’t change ANYTHING!
Yes, I had a man of honor! It was my cousin who has walked most every step of this life with me. My other cousins stood with me and I would not change a thing! Kyles sister also was with me and I am so glad she did! Kyle had his best and lifelong friends with him. They are the best of the best. My brother officiated the wedding and that was one of my favorite things! My aunt Kay Kay did so many of our decorations and as always outdid herself! You will also see my stunning momma who I can’t even begin to put words for what she did for me on my wedding day! All she provided then, my life before and even now! Talk about a special woman! I hope someday I am half the person she is! Doesn’t she look beautiful! Kyles family was very involved in helping which is what we wanted! What a fun night it has been going back and looking at OUR special day! We also had roses in memory of my gradmommy and granddaddy and Kyles grandpa!

Let’s talk about my dress… Its so funny how fashion changes so quickly. When we got married, it was a traditional ceremony. I wanted a dress that had a long train, a halter (because I am not a fan of strapless) and one that I felt like a princess in. This dress had EVERYTHING  I wanted. The detail in the body and throughout the train were so intricate. I loved how there was so much detail, but it was almost understated.  What was/is your ideal wedding dress?!? XOXOXO LC

Shoes, shoes, shoes!!! We went shopping today and I found some great things for me, my hubby and my little guy. I seriously could shop all day! Tomorrow on the blog, I will be posting everything I got. Surprisingly, I only got shoes for my little man not me 😂🤷🏼‍♀️! Sunday’s are special days for us filled with time worshiping our Savior and then spending the day with family. When Kyle and I had been dating for a while, we started the tradition of spending Sunday lunch with my family and Sunday dinner with Kyle’s family. I love love love this tradition. Now that we have our little man, it is even more special for him to have this time with our families. Being close to family is such a blessing. We wouldn’t trade that for anything.

Today, let’s talk about spray tans! I LOVE LOVE LOVE getting a good tan! I have been getting spray tans for over 9 years! I only use one business when tanning: High noon tanning in Shawnee, OK. The absolute best place with the nicest facilities and friendliest workers. I have been tanning there for 20 years. When I get sprayed, I use the Versa Spa. It is fast, easy and gets a great overall coverage! Here are some tips and tricks when getting a spray tan:

1) make sure that you don’t have on any makeup or lotions

2) I always wear dark, comfy clothing so that it doesn’t get any residue from the tan onto any light colored clothing

3) I like to get sprayed right after getting a shower and exfoliating. I usually get sprayed in the evening and then get a shower the following morning

4) they say wait 6-12 hours before getting a shower… I wait the longest amount possible. This ensures a longer-lasting tan

Hey Loves,

I have loved fashion my entire life. It has been a running joke in my family that at my one year old birthday party, I would toss toys over my shoulder and start trying to put on my new clothes. Yes, I absolutely love everything about fashion. I have been on several different career paths including: Preschool Director, Frame Specialist for an eye doctor and an online gun sales person (we were one of the top in the nation). I entered the fashion industry almost three years ago as a LulaRoe retailer and I LOVE IT. I love helping women feel beautiful and confident. As I continue my LulaRoe journey, I have realized that my heart, soul and passion are in the fashion world. I would see all of these influencers on Instagram posting their OOTD and everything from fashion to amazon finds. I have fallen more and more in love with the idea of sharing my passion for fashion. I always told myself that I couldn’t be in the industry being from Oklahoma, but I am ready to change that and share everything from high end items to my Target and amazon finds.
