Happy Thanksgiving!!! I love that our families are not very far away. Every year since Kyle and I have been together, we have spent the holidays with both sides of our families. Each thanksgiving, we eat with his parents and one of their sides of the family for lunch and then go to my mom and brothers house with them and my grandpa for dinner.
This year, we followed tradition and ate with Kyle’s moms family. Fortunately, they only live about 5 minutes away from us. It was a great day of eating, fellowshipping with our families and counting the many blessings we have.
When I was growing up, my family used to travel to my grandparents farm. We had dinner with our entire family and after the dinner, we would either have a late night game of basketball or football. It was me, my brother and my three boy cousins. We had games way into the morning hours… sometimes ending the game around 1:30-2:00. These are some of my favorite memories. I am so looking forward to going back to the farm and having Thanksgiving at my aunts house and being back “home” so to speak.
